My name is Sara Richardson, and I do not know if we live to far away or not for you to be able to consider helping my family this year. We live in Bradford Ohio, on the other side of Troy. I think it is absolutely wonderful of you to help people like this for the holidays, and even though we may not be the ones your able to help, I pray that you are as Blessed always. Anyhow, I don't know if you want to know about us, but, I have 4 amazing children, Jonathan, 10, Jarrett, 9, Maralee, 8, and Kaylee " Buttons" is 6. I was a single mom for many years after leaving their abusive father when he broke my jaw. We lost everything we had, and it has taken years for us to get back on our feet. We now have a wonderful loving warm home. Money is still tight, but I am in school full time, and I am in love with a wonderful man who I will have been with 3 years soon. He helps support us, and life is wonderful, i have few complaints. This holiday season was going to be the first ever that I was able to provide a Christmas for my family. I personally have no other relatives besides my children, and have had no support until I met David. We had managed to save up a few hundred dollars for Christmas, until I wrecked my only form of transportation, putting us $800. in the hole. Now I find myself stressing about a van that doesnt run correctly with no speedometer and no gas gauge, not sure if we will have much food, or any other non food essential items like toilet paper and shampoo, and even though I am putting up the decorations we have, I worry our electricity may get shut off. Its stressful, but I am so thankful that my children are excited for Christmas, and that they know the meanings of it, and are not worried about not receiving gifts. I am blessed, and I pray your family is as blessed as mine.

This is something myself and my partner with my sister and brother inlaw and 2 nieces have done together for 3 years.

Help! I need help on bills. I've been disabled for some time now (I had a stroke). I have a couple of bills that have gone into collections, and I was talking to a collector recently who mentioned these resources. If it's possible I would like to get these bills paid off. There are a couple that are $2000 and not being able to work to pay these off has become a problem. I don't make enough with disability to make payment arrangements in order to pay these off. I'm considered permanently disabled. I want to work, but because of the tremor I have in my left hand and very limited use of it, I'm not able.

I am on social security(: So I do understand the hardship of being on a fixed income and also understand growing up myself on welfare you prob get less each month than i do right now. There big in oklahoma about helping out low income families for christmas, but I am not sure how big they are in your state?

hello, i was told this was the site that ppl helped ppl. i worked for a company for 20 years and they closed down i was out of work for 3 years i found a job about a year ago still its better than zero dollars coming in. im making a fraction of what i made. my taxes were sold and im not current with my taxes this year, yes i have been saving to pay them but when i have the money something breaks(car,dryer,washing machine) if its not one thing its another(lol)yes i know its not a laughing matter. i have 2 children and they see me stressed i dont let them know we are about to loose our house, i have let my brother and sister know about my problem my brother is on unemployment and really cant help me my sister who lives about an hour away just laughs and says its all my fault.im not a bad person i have bailed my mom out when she was in foreclosure when i had a good job and now she turns her back on me when i need the help.i would really like any help with websites ,advice anything ..im getting really desperate... if there is anyone out there that can help my family please help

in response to Bee's Knees...So we walk in unity, my friend. Jesus is the WAY and the TRUTH and the very source of true LIFE. We are not living unless we know HIM and walk with HIM daily in and thru every situation. non-denominational has also become a tag(; HA!HA! So many people feel they need to be a part of this group or that group, it is a shame! Yes, I very much agree with u, ,we are to be in unity and walk as 1 body in CHRIST! DUE to the flesh NOT the spirit, there are so many different church groups. But we know who is truly behind all the division! For the thief comes but to STEAL, KILL and DESTROY! We must truly guard our hearts when we have the heart of bringing the unity of the faith! I was HIT the hardest when I was growing deeper and deeper in GODS knowledge and understanding about UNITY. I do not claim any tag, but that i am a christian. For me, the WORD is true and anything opposite of the WORD of GOD is a lie!
Hebrews 12:1-2 speaks of the sin that so easily ensnares us! that sin is taking our EYES off of JESUS in any situation, for HE is the author and finisher of our faith. When we do not seek or look to JESUS in a situation, but focus on the circumstances, we have open the door to falingl on our face, messing up!
I do not seek after the blessings of GOD, but I hunger to continuly know GOD deeper and deeper and then quiet naturally HIS blessings follow(: But I am not really into material things, I do not desire much in this world as many do! I guess GOD has blessed me that way(: If I was to be blessed with alot, I would just give it to those in need, my friend(: If GOD did bless me with away to make money, it would be awesome because I would continue to bless others. The greatest blessing is knowing GOD and being able to hear HIS voice((: and as well...the true blessing is being able to be a blessing((: I am nothing without HIM; HE is the vine of life and iam but a branch. in response to montedreams...Ok, my relationship with Jesus...wow, that is a big one....I have known HIM since I was little, so we go way back. He is my all in all.
How do you describe that?
I can't take a breath without HIM!
We have been through some rough weather together, and HE had never left my side.
Even when it seems I am lost and abandoned, I KNOW I'm not, no matter what.
I have attended different types of churches in the past, but now, I do not claim a specific denomination. I guess that makes me non-denominational.
I don't believe Jesus ever intended us to divide up into different groups to worship him in.
I just believe in what the word of God says.
I am always up for questions that challenge what I believe, and measuring it against the word to find out what the real TRUTH is. What we are taught in life is not always the truth, so we have to seek out the real truth.

Yes, everything is well here in south eastern, Ok. I live near the Tx boarder and have never seen a tornado in my life, Praise GOD!
I truly appreciate your encouraging words. But I just have a heart for people that are hurting and broken, I always have. Believe me, I wish I had the brains and funds to help a large amount of women and children in need. But if Jesus will allow me to be apart in His work to even help 1 person at a time, I will feel truly blessed.

in response to Help!!...Your situation is difficult and you need to make an even more difficult decision. Your children are your number one priority and having a boozer in the house creates a chaotic and turbulent life style for them. This will ultimately lead them into the high risk for crime/poverty cycle, I know; I’m a child of an alcoholic and a recovering drug/alcohol abuser myself. If she’s helping with the bills and you need the money it’s understandable, however I think it would be best for her to go else where. You and you kids don’t need that crap that an alcoholic causes, nothing is worth that. It would be the same if you were with an abusive man, and one who runs out on his family is quite the douche I must say. Ditch the boozer/looser and find an alternative, just hang in there, something good will come.
in response to Help!!...You could apply for disability for your aunt. Then you can apply for taking care of her.
Have an intervention. Have her go to AA and if she don't she'll have to go, unless you plan on baby sitting her the whole time she's there.
in response to Help!!...First you need to go to the Department of Human Resources and apply for state aid and food stamps, in fact you can apply on line. Apply for W.I.C.

in response to Help!!...I went threw something kinda like yours my husband had a drinking problem and one night he got really drunk and went to charge at me and my son and my baby sitter got my son out of the way, well to make a long story short he beat me up really bad I got away from him and called 911 the cops came he went to jail for a little over a month and had to go threw child parenting classess AA and conceling for his bad temper and now he has been sober for 3 1/2 years and is a compleatly a different man and he just moved back home with us a year ago. So for your self and your aunt I would say hard love is hard but that is what got my husband to be a sober new loving man HARD LOVE IT SUCKS BUT FOR SOME PEOPLE IT WORKS. Good luck
I have another problem I would really appreciatte any advice that I could get.....my aunt has recently moved in with me so I can care for her she is an alcoholic and has recently started drinking again I dont know what to do?? in response to shotcaller69...You aren't going to want to hear this but the truth of the matter is that there are few grant that are for personal uses.You have to get a non profit to help you .and that takes a long time both to write it up and to get it. Aidpage has a sister site that has two programs that help you if you still choose to try first one is foundations; www.grantgate.com and the other you can tell from the title: www.thefederalmoneyretriever.com. Both are free , it helps guide you and tells you what you need to know.
